The American Gothic House Visitor Center will be closed on Monday, September 2nd, in observance of Labor Day.
The center will be open it’s usual hours for Labor Day weekend (Saturday, August 31, 10am-5pm, and Sunday, September 1, 1pm-4pm).
For visitors passing through on Labor Day, it is still possible to visit the area around the Gothic House and Center; there is ample outdoor space for stretching and picnicking, and all are still welcome to stop and snap their picture in front of the house (especially now that we have a selfie station for visitors!), just please be aware that it is B.Y.O.C. (that is, bring your own costumes!).
Any further questions can be directed to our center, by either emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org, or calling us at (641) 652-3352. For more holiday closures, please check our hours & admission page, which is always up-to-date.
Thank you, and Happy Labor Day!
